Peace rallies held in two cities

In two cities London and another country rallies are being held to say that American troops should leave Iraq. They feel that since the Iraqis don’t like the U.S. it is making more conflict then it is solving which it creating civil wars. The Iranians are also helping this issue because they are thought to have sent weapons ect… to Iraqis which allow them to fight the Americans. Iran is doing this because from the beginning when America was helping Iraq they weren’t pleased because they thought that Iraq should solve its own problems. U.S. is not only giving troops but they are funding food and construction but they are mainly giving security not for other countries such as Japan but for internal conflicts against the Shia and the Sunnis. The U.S. is on the government side (Shia) because the majority is Shia. They are also giving training to Iraqis so it can fight its own battles.

The rallies in Iraq are very unpopular and think that Bush is making a mistake. The people say that the sooner they pull all their troops out the better, other wise the situation in Iraq would be crazier. They believe in Iraq should be solve in diplomatic means not military which Bush is using now. It is said to be 60000 people are present at the rallies. Citizens also said “Instead of wasting billions on a weapons system that cannot protect us from terrorism, people would rather see that money spent on schools, hospitals and fighting crime.”

It is significant people are already fed up with the killing and war. They are against bush because he is using military force when they think it should be done with political force. Iraq needs help and giving troops wouldn’t help only compromise using political force. It impacts the region because there will be instability and disruption of oil supply (economy). Also more violence act in Iraq and other countries.

    Hello Ramzi,

First of all i would say that this was a very interesting article to choose. If i had a say in this rally, i would definately support it. I think that Bush is serving the wrong purpose for sending US troops to iraq. He should let Iraq themself solve thier own problems.

    Thank you for sharing

    Hey Ramzi,

First of all i would like to say what an interesting article you chose. If i had the free choice, i would definately support the rally. I think that Bush is serving the wrong purpose for having the troops in Iraq. He should let Iraq settle their problems themselves because even their government says so.
